Silverton Volunteer Ambulance Service
"2009 Volunteer Provider of The Year"
Silverton Volunteer Ambulance Service is one of few volunteer services remaining in Texas which respond 24/7. Silverton EMS currently has 12 volunteers including 1 Paramedic, 1 Intermediate, 1 ECA and 9 EMT's. The service operates a Basic Life Support Ambulance with Mobile Intensive Care capabilities. The staff holds a monthly meeting, with training, the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM.

Silverton EMS are currently remodeling the classroom inside the building. Many new and exciting changes are being made to make continuing education more comfortable as well as appealing.
